Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad

Our all volunteer group is comprised of individuals who have an interest in the history and future preservation of the Belfast & Moosehead Lake RR. Brooks Preservation Society was formed in 2008 for the purpose of restoring the Brooks Station which is one of 2 original stations on the B & ML RR. BPS (a 501C3 non profit) is the "all volunteer" operator of the B & ML RR,. BPS is the owner of the Brooks Station, City Point Station and related equipment.

The Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad provides train rides to familes and charter groups during the spring, summer and fall. We operate trains on weekends. The revenue geernated from railroad excursions support the preservation of our historic railroad stations, equipments and the railroad itself.  Â
