Shoestring Thrift Shop

Who We Are

We are a non profit (501 3C) corportation.  Our Thrift Shop opened in 2001 one day a week in an old trailer in Bradley, Maine, in 2007 we found and started occupying 10 Brimmer Street shop with a lot of work to upgrade the house.  We have since acquired the building and continue to reach out to those in need (homeless, fire victims, et.c) through clothing and bed linens).

What We Do

Just 2 1/2 hours a month (or more) helps keep this mission thriving.  We are soley run by volunteers which, in turn, allows us to sell items at very reasonable prices and then allows us to also give away (3) scholarships each year to graduating seniors from Old Town, Brewer and John Bapst High Schools.
