Healthy Acadia’s Washington County Gleaning Initiative seeks volunteers to help harvest and fresh pack Maine wild blueberries for distribution to local food pantries in August of 2019.
Regina Grabrovac, Healthy Acadia’s Food Programs Manager and Gleaning Initiative Coordinator in Washington County, organizes two gleaning event days at a local blueberry farm.
Light refreshments, pizza, rakes, and harvest boxes will be available. You can volunteer for any shift that works best for you. Family friendly.
