Join us for a fun, fast-paced day at the refuge working with elementary-aged students as they explore and learn through hands-on outdoor experiences! This is a great opportunity to engage with curious young minds, support environmental education, and be part of an energetic and rewarding program. Timeframes vary and are often 1.5-3 hrs in length.
Volunteers (3-4 needed for each program) will:
Help set up interactive learning stations before students arrive
Prepare and distribute supplies, materials, and equipment
Assist with guiding small groups through activities
Help monitor students to ensure a safe, positive, and on-track experience
Answer questions, encourage participation, and jump in wherever needed
This is an active, engaging role, perfect for those who enjoy working with kids, being outdoors, and contributing to a dynamic learning environment.
