The Bangor Public Library is hosting a “Night at the Library” fundraiser to benefit both the library and the Boys & Girls Club!
“The Night at the Library,” will be held on Friday, November 22nd. Tickets will be sold to families in the area to attend this special overnight event. Attendees will enjoy dinner, extra special activities and fun throughout the library after hours, get to spend the night among the books, and have breakfast in the morning. The event is targeting families with children ages 5-11 for the overnight portion. Adults may not attend without children. A cheaper "Almost Sleepover" ticket will be available for those with youngsters, or who would prefer not to spend the night.
This fundraiser will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Bangor and the BPL Annual Fund to support year-round programming, activities, supplies, maintenance, and general expenses.
Volunteers are needed to help set up, clean up, patrol for safety, assist with fun activities, and be around to answer questions or help where needed! Volunteers must be 18 or above or in high school. Groups are encouraged to volunteer together. This is an overnight event, however volunteer shifts can be tailored to suit your needs!
