We are searching for a new member to join the Eastern Area Agency on Aging (EAAA) Board of Directors.
Eastern Area Agency on Aging (EAAA) is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of passionate community members who volunteer their time to provide organizational and financial oversight and serve as ambassadors for the organization. The Board supports the work of EAAA and provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by EAAA’s Executive Director (ED), the Board-ED relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected.
Who We Are Looking For:
Location Requirement: Must live in Hancock County.
Desired Specialized Experience (One or more of the following):
- Technology & Digital Strategy: IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data privacy, or digital transformation.
- Political & Government Relations: Public policy, legislative advocacy, or experience as an elected official.
- Advanced Finance: Auditing, investment, or financial risk management.
Core Attributes: Strong leadership skills, a passion for advocating for older adults, and the ability to attend roughly 6 meetings a year (held on the 4th Thursday from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, with in-person preferred).
