Family Caregiver volunteers are needed to assist with support groups and Powerful Tools for Caregivers training. Support groups are held in each county every month (Washington County is the only county left to administer a support group). We also offer a support group each month via Zoom, so comfortability around tech is highly recommended. Our Powerful Tools for Caregivers replaces the SAVVY support group but still offers Caregivers training to learn about how to be better caregivers for their loved ones while also focusing on the importance of self-care. Training can take place in-house once the FCG Specialists complete the train-the-trainer training (planned for 2024).
