Heavy Metal--20 tons of steam-powered loghauler and a chance to pound hot metal on an anvil all by yourself! July 28th is a great day to join the crew at the Maine Forest and Logging Museum--learn how to bake biscuits, fire up the Lombard, help with parking--there are many places to fit in at the volunteer event. Become part of the crew and learn the ropes. Our largest event is in October--start training now to help us be ready. Shifts are set-up @ 9, until 1, or 1-4 & clean-up. Some jobs have slightly different times. The event itself runs from 10-4.
