What We Do
Maine Coast Heritage Trust is a statewide land trust which stewards both preserves, which we own, and conservation easements on privately held lands. We are leaders in the Maine Land Trust Network, supporting and sharing with the state's other land trusts. The organization works hard to be good members of our communities in which we hold land and to bring valuable public benefits where we work.
The volunteer opportunities are based around creating and maintaining trails and boundaries, and improving the quality of the visitor experience on our lands.
