The Restorative Justice Project promotes fundamental change in the justice system and schools, seeking accountability and reintegration of offenders, support and healing for victims, and renewal and safety for communities. RJP is looking for mentors for youth in our Community Resolution Program and for residents at the Belfast Reentry Center. If you might like to spend an hour a week helping someone have a second chance, please join us for an info session:
Thursday, October 20, 6:00-8:30pm
at the Chestnut Street Baptist Church, 29 Chestnut St, Camden
A light supper will be provided.
If you like what you hear, join us for the rest of the training:
Thursdays, Oct 27, Nov 3, Nov 10, and Nov 17, 6:00-8:30pm (potlucks)
Please plan to attend all sessions if you'd like to mentor. If you can't come to one, let us know and we can schedule a make-up. For more information or to RSVP, contact Hanlon at hanlon@rjpmidcoast.org, or 338-2742 x101. Thank you!
