Join us for a look at one of the top nocturnal predators! Learn how owls navigate the dark and sneak-up on their prey, and discover whooo is making that sound in the dark. While we learn we will be making s'mores by the fire. We will then take a look at what is an owl pellet and why owls make them. Then as the sun sets we will go out on the trail for a look at the night life and search for our feathered friends!
Volunteers assist in setting up the program materials (s'mores kits, pellet dissection kits, headlamps etc.), prepping and starting the fire, and/or maintaining the fire, volunteers with knowlege in this area are welcome to help run the program and answer participant questions
