Looking for family members for our Board of Directors

Would you like to make a difference in the life of a child? Have you ever thought about being on a Board of Directors for a non-profit that serves children? Maybe now is the time! Non-profits depend upon volunteers in the communities that they serve to help govern them. They set policy and oversee the financial status of the agency. It is great experience. They typically meet 9-11 times a year for a 1.5 hour meeting. There are several different committees, Personnel, Finance for example. We will train you! We are seeking parents, family members of children or adults who are receiving or have received services for their child. We are also seeking community members with a variety of experiences to join us in the fall for the coming year.
