Responsibilities will vary by committee and the projects it is working on. Some BARN committees include marketing, the Bangor Area Recovery Community Coalition, and the operations committee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Regular attendance at committee meetings and tasks as assigned or agreed upon by committee members. A good fit would have effective communication skills and the abilities to collaborate and work independently.

This is a monthly orientation held for people that are seeking a volunteer position at BARN. It is open to everybody. We have positions ranging from front desk volunteers, special event volunteers, and varying committee positions. Come to the orientation to learn more about how to get involved at BARN!
At the orientation we will:
- Discuss different volunteer positions
- Go over expectations
- Review the BARN’s Policy Manual
- Discuss different scenarios volunteers may run into
- Review training opportunities
- Fill out applications
After the orientation, we will discuss next steps for those who are interested in moving forward with a volunteer position!
