Together Place at 2 Second Street Bangor (you know the murals at 2nd and Union) is creating an exciting exhibit that is a tribute to Maine-connected books (and some art and historical figures connected to Maine). Please volunteer: no experience needed. You will be guided by people (including someone who does framing professionally for the UMaine Art Museum) in helping frame the images and mount them on the walls.
Maine Mental Health Connections' Together Place offers peer support for people in recovery from mental health or substance use challenges. If you care about the recovery cause or just like the idea of an exciting new exhibit in Bangor, this will be fun for you. All we want are people who show up and are willing to help our assembly line. We want a head count beforehand, so please let us know ASAP if you are interested.
