The Christine B. Foundation is excited to launch Rise to the East, a 28-mile team relay run/walk along the Penobscot River, to raise funds for CANCER SUPPORT SERVICES across Eastern Maine! You can challenge your friends, business, club, or family to leave their footprints on the route in relay fashion and register a team today. Will you rise to the challenge? CBF is looking for volunteers to sign up for a variety of positions to make this inaugural event successful, memorable, and fun! Positions for the Rise to the East event on 10.19 include:
- Water Stop Crew (4 Sites: Eddington, Old Town, Orono, Veazie. Preferred time 8a-11:30a or 11:30a-3p)
- Photographer (Brewer Start/Finish Location (6:30a-8:30a or 1p-4p), Eddington (9a-10a), Old Town (10a-12p), and Orono (11-1p).
- Event Set-Up (Direction Signs 10.18 (5p-7p) + Start/Finish Location Set Up, Parking Aid, Welcomer, etc. (5:30a-8a)
- Event Lunch Prep + Serve (12p-3p)
