Foster Grandparents

The Penquis Foster Grandparent Program is for volunteers, aged 55 and over, who volunteer a minimum of 15 hours with children at sites such as schools and Pre- School enviroments. The Foster Grandparent Program provides opportunities for seniors to get involved in their community by sharing their time with children who benefit from additional nurturing support. Benefits include a stipend, paid holidays, earned time, and assistance with transportation.
