Description

Vew of stream from Blue Trail

The Maine Forest and Logging Museum is looking for volunteers to help with various groundskeeping opportunities.  The grounds need to be raked and have brush cleared around buildings and walkways.  Our hiking trails need some post-winter attention, including brush-clearing, possible blow-down removal, and reblazing.  We're also looking for green thumbs for our gardens.  We have flower beds and pots that need attention.  We are also looking for someone to plant and maintain our vegetable garden.

Tuesdays are volunteer workdays, but arrangements can be made to work on other days.  We can provide some tools, but please bring gloves and any food and drink desired.

Please contact the Museum at 207-974-6278, info@maineforestandloggingmuseum.org, or www.facebook.com/maineforestandloggingmuseum
