Our Commodities Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and Furry Friends Food Bank (FFFB) operate together to provide supplemental food for low-income older adults and their pets.
We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to help out at our monthly distribution site in Dover-Foxcroft on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 12pm to 3pm.
This distribution site is located at the Piscataquis Regional Food Center (PRFC) on North Street in Dover-Foxcroft. Volunteers meet at noon to portion and package produce then help during the distribution which runs from 1:30 to 3 pm. Volunteers check names off of a roster and load materials into vehicles. The volunteer will need to be able to lift boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
