Hello! Food AND Medicine is a member-based organization that believes people shouldn't have to choose between food, medicine, and other basic necessities. Our members are a vital part of our organization and essential to the work we do in the Greater Bangor area.
We're looking for folks that would like to phone bank with us to remind our existing members to renew their memberships as well as sign up potential new members.
Volunteer phone bankers will be given a list of folks to call and a call script to be used as needed to guide them through their phone calls. Volunteers are welcome to come to our location to phone bank with us in person (snacks provided!) or to make their calls from home. Either way, Food AND Medicine staff will be available to answer any questions that come up.
Our first phone banking shift will be 3/27 at 5pm.
