We're looking for a volunteer team member who has and enjoys making connections to help raise awareness and support for adult literacy in the Bangor area. With a Resource Development Plan to guide us, this committee is looking to grow the number of donors to support this privately funded mission. We want to expand our established appeal program, endowment, a signature fundraiser, and grant writing program. Additionally, we are looking to further develop our major and planned giving programs.
While experience with these types of campaigns is helpful, we are most interested in working with team members who are energetic, positive, connected, and passionate about elevating adults and families out of poverty in our region through literacy (basic education) and mentorship.
