Good Shepherd Food Bank

Good Shepherd Food-Bank is Maine’s largest hunger relief organization and is responsible for the procurement and distribution of millions of pounds of food annually. We work with over 600 partner agencies throughout the state to distribute foods to local communities

To accomplish this task Good Shepherd Food-Bank partners with many other organizations including the USDA to reach those at risk of hunger in our state. We help facilitate the federal Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) which distributes food to about 6,000 food insecure seniors throughout the state of Maine.
