Volunteer with Central Maine Derby

We are always looking for new people to join our league! Our officials come from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and experience. There are two types of officiating positions: skating and non-skating officials. Skating officials (referees) watch the skaters and call penalties. The non-skating officials work a variety of different jobs including timing the penalty box, tracking penalties, tracking score, and timing the jams. We will train you for any position you are interested in, no experience necessary! We always love to have volunteers at our scrimmage practices held Thursdays at 8:15pm and Sundays at 4pm.
